Update on “One Garden Underway”

These are updated pictures of the circular garden that was planted for the first time this summer. As you can see the tomato plants just flourished with the rich soil. I was mistaken in thinking that there wasn’t going to be much growth this year. Most of the tomato plants stand at about 4-1/2 to 5 feet in height. Because they were planted late in the season I am just now getting my first red “beauties”. I have planted onions and also peppers in this area and they are doing quite well. A friend of mine raises rabbits and so I was able to get some free “bunny poo” which benefited all of my plants – flowers and
vegetables.

Needless to say I’m thrilled at the first season’s growth and looking forward to a lot more in the coming years. Happy Gardening !!
