I live in Southwestern Wisconsin where our winters can be long and cold. The first signs of Spring can come as late as the end of April and sometimes as late as May.  Even though it is hard to wait that long to get things going in the gardens, it coincides very well with my schedule as a teacher.  This puts the gardening season at just about 6 months in length so there is much to do and much to talk about.

Thanks for visiting my site.

    Dear Garden Girl,

I am the editor of a home magazine published in Sydney, Australia, and we are doing a story on drainage and guttering and have found a lovely image on your site of water running from guttering into a drain and were hoping to use it in our magazine. We would credit gardenpleasuresandplants.com as the source of the picture if you give us permission to use it.

    Many thanks,

    Hello Leanne,
I’m flattered that you would want to use this image and credit my website.
However, I got it off of iStock Photo – where I have an account.
They should be the ones to get the credit.
